Overview
I have long extensive experience in teaching tertiary mathematics and in particular, in the pivotal area of first-year mathematics. I have lectured and coordinated many subjects as well as taken small group "practice" or "tutorial style" classes. I have developed and overhauled subjects. Importantly, I have played a central role in large scale curriculum reform in the School of Mathematics and Statistics during the move to the "Melbourne Model" and also in the Faculty of Science at the University of Melbourne in my role as Associate Dean of Graduate Programs. in the establishment of the Master of Science (MSc) suite of degrees.
